Fire Station Tour

Today we joined our mom's group for a tour of the Thornton Fire Station #5.  Alex was a bit shy at the start, until her friend Emily arrived.  Some of this may have come from the fact that I had to wake her from a dead sleep in order to get her ready and out the door on time.  But once she got warmed up and connected with her friends, she seemed to have a good time!

While the overall tour may have been a bit over their heads, the crew at the station did a great job trying to simplify the info for our age group and letting the kids explore and check things out.
