Steve got home Thursday night after 4 long days of work (a couple of 16 hour days). Luckily he had Friday off then and we got to relax and have some nice family time. After visiting Grandma Polly, we decided to take a walk through Ohlbrich Gardens. This is wonderful garden that is free to the public and it is so peaceful and beautiful.
A highlight was visiting the Thai Garden and the Pavillion that was a donation from Thailand. You can learn about the history of this gift here http://www.olbrich.org/gardens/thai.cfm
They have an amazing Rose Garden with a tower and water fountains that we also explored.
