Today we all came home together. It is nice to be out of the hospital and at home, yet also a bit weird as we are now "on our own" with Alexandra.
The kitties are a bit unsure of what to make of her, all have come around to sniff and a bit resistant to do much else. They are not sure what they think of her or what they think of us bringing her into their home yet. I am sure there will be a peaceful co-existence found sometime soon...just wait until she is awake more and interactive :)
While none of us are eagerly awaiting 11 inches of snow (yep, that is the latest forecast for Madison) it does give us a great excuse to just stay home and bond and try to find out some sort of routine. Luckily Steve is off work through the end of next week so we have a real solid stretch of time to get to know one another.
As we try to find a sleep pattern (or learn to live on a lot less sleep!) we are working to get pictures loaded from the camera. We take a about a million as everything she does is just so cute! As we sort through them we will post those that turned out and are appropriate for all.
Please don't hesitate to contact us if you would like to stop by and meet this newest Colby in the coming weeks. We are very excited for her to get to know her family and friends :)
Genny, Steve, and Alexandra
