Happy Easter!

We started our Easter celebration by decorating our Easter Eggs.  This year this was a 2 step process because Grandma Polly sent us a cool egg decorating kit that included stickers, googly eyes, and bunny tails.

She is intently working on getting her name using the stickers onto the egg.

Then Easter morning the Easter Bunny (or E.B.) had left notes for Alex around the house for her to find her Easter Basket.  She was up and going so quickly this morning that we did not have time to grab the camera before she found her basket of goodies which included a new Tinker Bell flashlight, a Tinker Bell water bottle, and a Fairy Duty Tree (to go with the Fairies that he left for her last Easter in her basket).

Then outside to find the eggs that E.B. had left for her.  She laughed when she saw a small pile of jelly beans in the grass...since that is what E.B. poops...jelly beans!!

Breakfast!  Eggs, of course!  And apple/cinnamon oatmeal (cooked in the crock pot overnight) and strawberries.  Daddy and I found it all yummy, Alex was just too excited and more interested in chocolate to eat much today.
