Pumpkin Patch Time!

We had a beautiful day for our family trip to the pumpkin patch!  Sunny, comfortable, light breeze.  We decided to head out to Anderson Farms again this year, which was a great choice. We also timed it right by getting there about 10:30am.  And while we did pick up two small pumpkins to decorate at our play date tomorrow, we did elect not to venture out int the pumpkin patch this year.  By the time we had explored all this is to see and do at Anderson Farms everyone was tired of waiting in lines and hungry.  So we treated ourselves to Culvers for lunch, where we all got an ice cream treat for dessert (well, everyone by Nicholas and you could just see how he felt this was just slightly unfair that we would not share with him!)

There really is so much to see and do at Anderson Farms!  Animals, hay bale maze, things to climb, pony rides, corn maze, barrel cart rides, and of course hay ride out to the pumpkin patch.  Alex had a great time this year as we pretty much let her set the pace/decide what we did this year.  Nicholas was, quite literally, along for the ride! But he loves watching his sister and seemed to enjoy all the sights and sounds.
