Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful first Christmas in Colorado. It had snowed the days before, but Christmas was sunny and bright :) Christmas Eve we made cookies for Santa, hung the stockings on the mantel, put out Santa's cookies and read "The Night Before Christmas".

Christmas morning Alex let us sleep until about 7:30 and then was not so sure what was going on, but had a good time climbing in her new Pooh Bear Chair (it matches her bedroom set), pulling things out of her stocking, and of course, opening presents!

She really got the hang of ripping off the wrapping paper and happily helped mommy and daddy unwrap all the gifts under the tree! We did decide that children's toys a a bit of tease at the holiday...here, rip all the paper off, see what it is? doesn't it look cool? Now wait a few minutes while mommy and daddy try to get the toy out of it is packaging!

We had a visit with Uncle Rick Christmas afternoon and ended the day with our traditional Christmas dinner of lasagna and pie :) We hope all had a wonderful holiday!

(I apparently have not loaded all the pictures to the computer yet, so I will get more pictures up later this week and hopefully a short video too!)
