Bananas!

Aren't we cute?  Never too early to support our Green Bay Packers!!!  

The best laid plans....we had planned to start Alex with avacado and sweet potato as her first two forrarys into solid food (other than rice cereal which is pretty tasteless) but she decided what she really wanted was banana...or more that she wanted what mommy had and since it was a banana, she could have some.  So, after letting her taste mommy's, we decided to strip her down, mash up some banana, and see how it went. 

What is this mommy? 

 

Hmm...not so sure...

Better take another taste....

Then we tried it in the highchair (having learned that bananas stain, we decided to go "au natural" and then take a shower after! 

We really like to help with the spoon, which usually means a trip to the tub after, but she has fun and is learning to take part in the feeding process, so why not?  And it really is fun to watch her go at it, she can really lick the spoon clean!
