Fun at the Great Wolf Lodge!

We decided we needed a little get away this fall...so we packed up the car and headed to Kansas City KS for a few days of fun at the Great Wolf Lodge.  Nicholas was a little hesitant about the whole "water park" part, but he loved riding the elevator, playing in the arcade, and using his wand on MagicQuest...oh and he loved falling asleep watching TV!  Alex LOVED the water park, LOVED the water slides, and LOVED MagicQuest.  Basically she loved the whole trip and was super sad to leave (luckily we had a second surprise adventure we were headed...) but back to the Great Wolf Lodge.  Loads of fun and we can't wait to plan another long weekend!

Oh, we also learned the kids do awesome on long car rides!

We stopped in Colby Kansas for lunch...so of course had to take a picture!

so apparently the only pics we took at the water park were for our Flat Stanley exchange...so please excuse the flat person in the pictures :)  We had too much fun swimming and sliding to take pics!
