This year we went to Pixie Skate with friends, then to lunch at one of mommy's fave places...Smashburger (their spicy black bean burger is SOOO YUMMY!). Alex likes this place too...even if they don't have a play area, and after skating for 90 minutes she was HUNGRY :)
We had a quiet afternoon, then went to Red Robin for dinner. Nicholas got his first taste of french fry...though I am not sure he was overly impressed. Oh well, he will get there, I am sure!
Alex helped decorate my birthday cake...she subscribes to the more is more philosophy of sprinkles :)
