Our many adventures...

So we are a bit behind in updating our blog...sorry about that! We have been busy working on art projects, baking, attending play groups, and just being cute! It is amazing how much of a little girl Alexandra is becoming, she really is no longer a baby! She is enjoying coloring with crayons, loves to dance, snuggles regularly with the cats, dances to music (be it on the radio, via iTunes, or the theme song to TV shows!), reads books (who knew I could be tired of Puff the Magic Dragon?), and exploring the world around her. She is so curious about everything and wants to figure out how things work and why. And she loves to talk on the phone...or anything she can hold up to her face as a phone-be it the phone, a remote, a calculator, or any other toy about the right shape and size :)

As we wait for our WI house to sell we are taking the time to drive around and check out different suburbs that have been recommended to us and even looking at a few houses. We are anxious and excited for our house in WI to sell so we can get down the serious side of buying a new house here....and be done with apartment living. While our complex (and apartment) is nice enough, we really are excited to get into a house, get the rest of our boxes from WI, and get settled making it ours. But all in good time!

Today we visited the Cherry Creek Mall in Denver. They have a great play area where all the pieces are shaped as breakfast food. It was great fun and Alex had a good time bouncing on eggs, climbing into the bowl of cereal and blueberries, sliding down the bacon, and bouncing on the banana slices and waffles.

no, but she knows how to use the TV remote to turn it on and change channels. Cell phones are for playing music grandma :)
