Crawling was not enough...

This weekend we went down to Maxwell Street Days on State Street with friends of ours (Chad & Evelyn) whose daughter Isabella is just 4 days younger than Alex. It was cool for July (low 60's, cloudy, a bit of a breeze, and sort of felt like rain) so that is why Alex is in fall clothes...we have so many beautiful summer dresses/outfits, but none were appropriate for the day.

Daddy and Alex enjoying the people watching.

Isabella and Alex ready to roll!

Isabella ad Alex-fast friends!

Alex has decided that know that now that she has crawling down...it is was time to had "pulling self up to stand" to her repitore! She is quite pleased with herself as she pulls herself up on mommy, daddy, the couch, the dining room table & chairs, or anything else that is handy :) You can see her here pulling herself and talking to Daniel-our big orange kitty (who is staying just out of reach of her little hands). The cats are less impressed with her new found ability, but it is so much fun for us to watch her explore her world and learn new things.
