Our LIttle Ballerina!

Today was Alex's first dance recital.  She was both super excited, as well as a little nervous to be up on stage.  As expected, it was a little chaotic and crazy and after a near perfect dress rehearsal the actual performance was cute if not exactly as planned!

They were doing sections of the Nutcracker...Alex's class did the Chinese Dance.  I loved their costumes!  Though Alex's first set of pants were a little short...but we traded at the recital with another little girl and the ones she wears for the performance were a much better fit!

 After the performance, the girls all got little nut cracker ornaments and a certificate for dancing in the nutcracker.
