Snow!!!

Well, we finally got some snow!  Not a huge amount, not as much as they had predicted....but enough that we could actually go out and play a little.  Alex was so excited about the snow that she went out last night with daddy and talked him into to taking her across the street to do a little night time sledding!  First on the sled hill...and they even saw an owl :)  But, it was dark...so no pictures.

BUT today the snow was still falling when we woke up and we were able to get outside today to play!  Alex and I went over for some sledding this morning and play time in the snow.  We did have a fun snow fight, but since it was just the two of us...no pics.  She's got quite the arm on her!

Then this afternoon we took both kids outside while daddy finished shoveling.  Alex had a blast pulling Nicholas around the yard in his little sled.  And he thought this was great fun to be with his sister!

Alex really wanted to go sledding with Nicholas.  While Nicholas is not ready for the sledding hill...we did find that our front yard had enough of a hill that they could sled down together.

We broke out the wagon to make the walk down to the mailbox today.  Nicholas had a blast!! And Alex made up a song that she sang all the way there...and back...about riding in the wagon :)
