Fun at the Denver Aquarium

It is also fun to spend time with the Miller/Penrose clan.  Alex has some serious hero worship going on with her Texas cousins.  This year we met them at the Denver Aquarium to explore the depths of the oceans, watching out for sharks and looking for the mermaids.  When I asked Alex what her favorite part of the day was (after spending time with her cousins) she replied that the mermaids and climbing on the rocks were the best parts!  She also thought that a fish named "Fluffy" was just hilarious :)

Nicholas enjoyed his time as well, snuggled up in the Moby wrap. He was less impressed with the mermaids than his sister and was content to sleep away the day.

We had lunch first at the restaurant at the Aquarium.  Really an experience!
One whole wall is aquarium...complete with sharks (here is were we saw Fluffy).  We all agreed that while a table right at the glass is cool...you end up with tons of kids hovering around your table watching the fish!

look..it is Fluffy!

Silly mermaids :)

Now is that a dessert or what?

See...Nicholas did wake up to meet everyone at least!

Alex was much more impressed with the fish, than her brother!
 Nicholas and Tina
I loved this one...with Alex and Luke peaking around the sides

A tiger...makes sense for the aquarium, right?

 Jelly Fish!!! so beautiful

**Please excuse some of the picture quality. I, of course, forgot the camera so these were all taken with my phone.  Which while has a decent camera, when you zoom they can get a bit fuzzy sometimes.**
