Our Little Fish!

After taking the week off to celebrate Halloween, Alex was super excited to get back to swim lessons this week.  As we were walking into the Rec Center, Alex announced that she would go under water AND swim like a fish!  She has gained so much confidence in the water.

This week's lesson was wearing life jackets, which was right up Alex's ally!  She learned late this past summer that with her life jacket, she could be a lot more independent in the water.  She was the only one in the class to keep her life jacket on all class.  As you can see, she really enjoyed the freedom that the life jacket gave her, as well as her willingness to try swimming on her own.  She also tried out using a kick board, though she was not as enthused about this part!
