Rain Puddles and Corn...

Tonight we had an amazing rain storm come through, that not only cooled things down, but was light enough to take Alex out to explore the rain. She was a bit timid at first, but once she got used to it, she had a blast playing in the rain and splashing in the puddle.

Then it was time for an outfit change and then dinner, which had to be modified as we had planned to grill out....but here is my little monkey "stealing" my corn on the cob. Guess we don't need to cut it off the cob any more for her!

And I couldn't resist this scene between Daddy and Alex...as with both of them in their Star Wars shirts...and a hot dog between them, it was too reminiscent of the scene on Dagobah from the Empire Strikes Back.
