Every year, our local zoo does a Halloween event with activities and trick our treating. We decided to get Alex in her costume and check out this wonderful Madison tradition. We did skip the trick or treating part as she can't eat the candy and mommy & daddy really don't need it! She had a nice time checking out the animals and the other kids. We also spent some time at a performance by Ken Lundquist (a local children's musician). She really enjoyed the music and watching all the kids dance.

Mommy and Alex at the Giant Shoe at the playground at Henry Vilas Zoo. A landmark to those of us who grew up here and spent many happy days at the zoo.
