Nine Months...

Alex is now 9 months old. She has been out in the world for as long as she was growing inside. And boy how things have changed in the past 9 (well, 18 really!) months. During our pregnancy, Steve and I talked a lot about what we thought our life would be like when she arrived, how we wanted to be as parents, our goals/expectations, what we really wanted to be able to provide for her, and the kind of person we hoped to raise. And honestly, things have changed as time has gone on and we have gotten to know this little person we brought into the world. She is so full of laughter, love, and curiousity of the world around her. It is so fun to see the world through her eyes, to find new things in every day, and even the most common items (like a tupperware container) can provide hours of entertainment.

I got these today...you can even see her one little tooth in there!

And here you can see our little walker! Why crawl when you can walk mommy? She is still a bit wobbly and sometimes crawling is more efficient, but really she prefers to walk if she can.

The best reaon for walking is that you can hold stuff in your hand and stick it in your mouth if you want. Love from GJG
