First Steps...

Alex has been pulling herself up to stand, walking along furniture/walls/etc. and while holding hands for some time now. We knew it would not be long before she started taking thoes first independent steps. This weekend was the time and we got a few of them on video! If she is up and sees something she wants (like the cats!) away she goes. She is still a bit unsteady and finds crawling much more efficient, but it is just a matter of time before she realizes that she can get places quicker, carry toys more easily, and it is a lot easier on the knees to just walk rather than crawl! She also has a tendency to get excited while standing that she starts to giggle
