Bits and Pieces...

Well, Alex's art work has taken on a theme...our new play structure!  I think she likes it :)  She now gets up in the morning, gets herself dressed, brushes her hair, and then comes down for breakfast, with the expectation that we will be going outside as soon as breakfast is complete.

And Nicholas gave himself his first black eye!  He was a bit unsteady on the rocks under the play structure and fell...hitting his face on the rung of the ladder.  Poor guy!  But it hasn't stopped him from getting back out there!  In fact, if Alex goes outside...he goes and gets his shoes and DEMANDS that I put them on so we can go outside too!  Needless to say, we have been spending a lot of time outside lately.  And luckily, it has been beautiful outdoor weather each morning :)  Not a bad way to start the day really...

Nicholas has decided that he wants to feed himself, but he also wants a spoon/fork/plate/what ever we have as well. Apparently a spoon is not always the most efficient way to deliver pea puree to the belly...he found his own!
