Spring is here!! And it is the time to play outside! We met gymnastics friends at the new park at the rec center this week for a little fun and picnic. It is hard to get a lot of pictures since Alex just takes off running and climbing and swinging and sliding with her friends and Nicholas needs a hand on most things since he is still getting used to walking on the various surfaces, but I got a few to share.

Alex picked out her clothes herself today. Usually she doesn't take her fashion cues from daddy...but she has decided she likes "dark" colors now in addition to just the pinks and purples.
Nicholas was really interested in the touch lamp we have downstairs...and the basket of remotes! (I know...Steve is pushing for a new universal remote so we can go down to one...)
Like the mess two kids can make?
Alex has really been enjoying look for animals in the clouds. Today I gave her her journal to draw and then write what she saw. The first one is a "Big Alligator" the second one is s a "Big Bear" She did the drawing and the writing ALL BY HERSELF!!! (yep, proud momma here!!)
